Armenian lavash - 2 pcs.;

leaf lettuce - 1 bunch;

fresh cucumber - 0.5 pcs.;

salt, oregano - to taste.

Cooking steps

Cut lightly salted salmon into pieces.

Spread a sheet of pita bread on the table and brush with melted cheese. Rinse and dry lettuce leaves, arrange on top.

Put a second sheet of pita bread on top and brush it with curd cream cheese.

It will be a roll with pita salmon, which takes literally 20-30 minutes to cook. Crispy fresh cucumber and tender cheese will add juiciness and softness to such a roll with salmon. And with mayonnaise, the pita appetizer will have a piquant taste.

Ingredients for two servings:

  • thin Armenian lavash - 1 piece;
  • fresh cucumber - 2-3 pcs.;
  • salted salmon - 150-200 g;
  • processed cheese - 1 pack;
  • green onion feathers and dill - to taste;
  • mayonnaise (or sour cream) - 5-7 tbsp. l.

Cooking

To begin with, lightly salted salmon must be cut into thin slices, the bones must first be removed.


Chop a few fresh cucumbers into strips with a vegetable peeler.


In a small bowl, combine cream cheese and mayonnaise, knead with a fork into a homogeneous mass. In order to reduce the calorie content of the dish, you can replace mayonnaise with sour cream or natural thick yogurt without additives. Instead of processed cheese, cream or soft curd cheese can be used. For piquancy, add a drop of chili sauce to the cheese mass.


Add chopped dill to the cheese mass.


Unfold thin Armenian lavash on the table in front of you. It is important that your pita bread is fresh so that it does not tear when forming the roll.


Spread the cheese mass on the pita bread in an even layer.


Spread the salmon in a strip on the pita bread.


Put the prepared slices of cucumbers near the salmon. Add green onion feathers to pita bread to taste. You can also add sweet pepper, avocado, egg omelet or chopped boiled eggs (chicken or quail to taste) to the filling for such a roll.


Roll up the stuffed pita bread into a roll. Then wrap the roll with cling film or wrap in foil. Place in the refrigerator to soak.

  • the next layer (again over the entire area) sprinkle with chopped greens - any spicy (green onion, parsley, dill, basil or something else);
  • and then wrap the roll, as in the recipe.

The difference is that the filling is evenly distributed over all layers of pita bread.

It is not necessary to lubricate pita bread with mayonnaise, try using the following mixtures:

  • sour cream and mustard;
  • chopped hard cheese, sour cream and a drop of ketchup;
  • chopped salted cheese (suluguni or feta cheese), sour cream and chopped fresh or dried herbs - this mass is great for a roll with boiled fish, not salted.

In the same sauce mixture, add any spices, spices or dried herbs to your individual taste.
