Pirate treasure chest.master class. Cake "Pirate": design ideas, cooking tips How to make a chest of mastic for a cake

Are you planning a children's party or a pirate-themed party? So you can't do without cake! What will he be like? Perhaps you are imagining a "Pirate" cake with sails? Or is it a chest filled with treasures? Or a funny pirate face with an earring and an eye patch? Let's look at a few popular ideas that you can implement on your own. And at the same time, let's talk about those materials with which you can decorate pastries.

Korzhi

Easy to use biscuit. From it you can easily cut out the details of the desired shape and glue them together with a cream. It is perfectly saturated with syrups and goes well with meringue, butter cream, fruits, jelly, chocolate and many other products that we can use in "Pirate" you can also bake on the basis of the Zebra recipe loved by many, because a children's dessert should be beautiful not only outside, but also inside.

Great idea - cakes in rich chocolate aroma and taste will make a worthy party to an unusual design. And adding coconut flakes to the dough will take you to the atmosphere of tropical islands, which all pirates love so much.

But with puff cakes it is hardly worth experimenting. They are too fragile for our purposes. It is unlikely that "Pirate" will succeed on the basis of the meringue recipe. In a word, choose a recipe that produces stable fluffy cakes.

Pirate schooner

Perhaps, this option can be safely given the first position of the top. The cake will be the main dish of your party.

Do not be afraid of its intricate form. It's not hard to assemble it. It's done like this:

Bamboo skewers will come in handy in your work, which will not only act as masts and flagpoles, but also give additional fixation to the elements of the ship. And for decorating the deck, it is best to use butter chocolate cream. Although the well-known mastic is also suitable, which will need to be painted brown. It will also come in handy in order to make figurines on the cake, because our schooner is a warship, not a ghost ship.

How to make a flag? Everything is very simple. For sails and banners, mastic rolled into a layer or plain paper is suitable. On it, by the way, you can write congratulations to the hero of the occasion.

Pirates' Treasures

A great option for those who find the ship too complicated. Still, the laconic shape of the chest is simpler, but such a dessert looks no less expressive. It's really easy to cook. For this we need rectangular cakes. From them we collect the base of the chest, which we generously coat with chocolate cream. Using a toothpick, we make many small stripes - so the surface will look like wood. To fill the chest, stock up on sweets in the form of gold coins, dragee beads, and pearl confectionery decor. And who said that all pirates value only gold and precious stones? Maybe someone would like a chest filled with M&M's sweets? Such a cake will look just as great!

It remains to cover with a lid and generously coat it with cream. From mastic, tinted yellow, you can build a castle and upholstery of corners.

Himself

The next "Pirate" cake will appeal to those who do not like mastic. To be honest, it's a breeze to make! We will need either a syringe with a nozzle. And as a basis we will take any favorite recipe, according to which we will prepare a round-shaped cake.

First, apply a white, beige, pink or light chocolate cream on the sides and top. Its surface is simply leveled with a silicone spatula. And then, using a pastry bag, squeeze out a cream of a contrasting color to make a bandana. To draw a face, you can do with a small amount of melted chocolate. From it we will make a bandage for the lost pirate eye.

Jolly Roger

Another spectacular dessert that does not require its creator to have a diploma from a culinary university is the Pirate Flag cake.

In this case, the chef's job is solely to create the Jolly Roger banner itself and localize it on any cake. Do you want to achieve maximum believability? Use black and white putty. For maximum effect, before making the flag, practice drawing a skull on paper, then cut out the details and use them as a pattern.

Do not forget that it is not a registered brand and no one forces you to make it black. You can make it orange, pink, purple. Young pirates will especially enjoy this design. By the way, how can you not remember the sugar turtles painted with flowers! They fit perfectly into the pirate concept.

Treasure Island Map

An excellent option would be a "Pirate" cake in the form of a card. Do not try to repeat the outlines of the earth's continents on it, it is better to come up with something of your own. To make the sea surface, blueberry jelly diluted twice as strong as recommended by the manufacturer in the instructions on the pack is perfect. And the continents and mountains can be laid out with green or yellow cream.

Fantasize and experiment, then the result will surely please you.

They ordered a cake for a wedding, they wanted something beautiful and tasty and affordable, since they didn’t make a big holiday. Avetort embodied everything we wanted! Excellent approach to the client and understanding of what was really needed. The cake was delivered on time as agreed, which is very rare in our time. The taste was incredible, our family is very fond of fruit and berry filling with sourness, not all confectioners can make such a combination of taste, but again, Avetort succeeded, which we are very grateful to. The very basis of the cake was a biscuit, it was tender and airy. And special thanks for the beautiful and neat decoration of the cake. We are all happy!!!

On Tuesday, I ordered a Master Yoda cake for my boss's birthday. Today, Thursday, the cake was already ready.
Organizational side: the moment of payment is slightly flawed (prepayment by transfer, final payment only in cash), but, in general, everything else is good: operators answer questions quickly, ordering is easy, cake baking time is short, delivery is convenient (to the door) in 3- hour interval.
Financial side: the cost is average (compared with 3 other pastry shops).
Confectionery side)): the decor is done quite neatly, the filling is in even layers, the taste is very pleasant.
I am very satisfied with the confectionery and I am grateful that Avetort did not disappoint :)

For a child's birthday, they ordered a cake at the Avetort confectionery. The design of the cake was chosen from the cartoon "Barboskiny". The cake turned out to be very original, airy and incredibly tasty, and home-made candies in the form of balls especially pleased the little guests. The order was ready right on time. Thanks for a great kids party!

According to the "legend" this chest was hastily put together by pirates right on the ship, because for some reason they were in a hurry to hide the loot - that is, to bury untold riches somewhere on a desert island. These riches have lain in the ground for a certain amount of time and our little chest has rotted a little, but we will finally dig it out and capture untold riches. But before it can be dug up, it must be created. In general, stop sitting idle, it's time to get to work!

To create a pirate chest, we need:

Beer cardboard (this is the best option, the binding is very tight and the lid will not bend at the chest, I would not risk the usual box cardboard either, as it will have ugly ends. Beer cardboard can be found in a printing house or scrapbooking stores)
- Acrylic paints (brown and black)
- Glue "Moment Crystal" or "Moment Gel"
- Stationery knife
- A metal ruler (with a plastic one you suffer and spoil a bunch of material, since such a ruler easily mows and cuts with a knife)
- A little silver-colored designer cardboard (you can also use thick cardboard for children's creativity)
- Brads "carnations" (sold in scrapbooking stores)
- CD
- Tassels
- Knitting needle or non-writing pen or creasing stick
- Sheet of A4 office paper
- Decorative handles for furniture (sold in household stores)

And here is the instruction:

1. Cut out the following blanks from a sheet of beer cardboard: 18*12 cm - 2 pcs (bottom), 18*8 cm - 2 pcs (walls), 11.7*8 cm (walls), circle the disc, cut out a circle and cut it in half, we get two sides of the lid, and one more detail - the lid itself, it will be 18 * 19.5 cm in size, but it’s better to try it on again, the corners of the semicircular parts and the lid should match.

2. We take the blank for the lid and line it every 2 cm (the last "piece" will be a little wider, about 3 cm) with a knitting needle or a pen and slightly fold the blank into a semicircle so that the cardboard bends a little and takes shape.

3. We take a sheet of office paper and cut off 2 strips of 4 cm from it and bend them in half lengthwise. We cut one half on each piece of paper with "cloves" and with the help of such a simple little thing we glue the details of the lid.

4. Now we glue the box blank. We cut a sheet of office paper into strips 3 cm wide and bend it in half lengthwise. With the help of these strips we glue the frame of our future chest. It should turn out like in the photo.

5. And now the fun begins. We need to cut "boards" from beer cardboard. We cut strips from it 2-3 cm wide (they do not have to be the same). The boards that will go along the length of our chest will not be 18 cm, but 19 cm, because this is the reserve for the bevel, which we will now deal with. Boards that will go in width the same size as the width, that is, 12 cm.

6. And now we need to "plan" the boards. On the front side, we cut off the corners a little to get the effect of a "rotten board" when painting. The boards on the lid should be 2 cm wide, since this is the size of the ruler, if the boards are wider, the lid will bend ugly, and we don’t need such happiness, but do not forget about the last strip on the ruler, the board for it must be adjusted to size.

7. We glue our boards to their places, glue the second bottom from below, it will close the ugly pieces of paper that fasten the sides to the bottom.

8. We paint our workpiece with brown paint. When everything is dry, we take black paint and paint the cuts on the boards with it, creating the same rot effect, and also slightly tint the edges of our boards.

9. Now we take silver cardboard, cut off strips from it 2 cm wide and 19.5 cm long for the lid (but we also make sure that the tips match), we adjust it for the box so that the strip “hugging” it from three sides. We take paints (all the same, black and brown) and stain our hardware so that it all looks like rust and dirt. When all this beauty has dried, we stick our brads-cloves at regular intervals and glue our stripes in place.

10. Cut out the fasteners for the lid from the remnants of silver cardboard and do the same manipulations with them as with the strips. Attach the lid to the box.

11. We attach handles to our chest on the sides and in the middle there is a place for a lock. Everything, our pirate chest is ready.
