Omelette roll: a recipe for an original dish. Roll of omelette Snack rolls of omelet

A stuffed cheese omelette roll is a great appetizer for all occasions. Due to the availability of products and the speed of the process, such a roll can be easily prepared for an ordinary family dinner, and due to the elegant look and bright taste, such a roll can decorate any holiday table.

You can safely experiment with the filling for the roll; instead of processed cheese, you can take a liver pate or cottage cheese with feta / cheese and herbs.

To prepare a cheese omelet roll with filling, we take: eggs, hard cheese, sour cream, dry herbs, processed cheese, garlic, mayonnaise, dill, as well as salt and pepper.

To prepare the base for the egg roll, break the eggs into a bowl. Add herbs and a pinch of salt and pepper to them. We add quite a bit of salt, since the filling layer turns out to be quite large, and processed cheese and mayonnaise are usually quite salty, so it’s better to make the base more neutral. Lightly stir the eggs with a whisk.

Grate the cheese on a fine grater and, together with sour cream, add to the bowl to the egg mass.

Stir until smooth.

We line the baking sheet with baking paper (the paper must be of high quality!) And pour the egg mixture on it for the base of the roll. Lightly trim it with a spatula.

We bake an egg omelette for about 10 minutes at 180 C. The omelet itself should be completely set, and its edges should be lightly browned.

We lay out a clean sheet of parchment on the desktop and turn the finished omelette onto it. Separate its bottom from the paper. Let the omelette cool down like this.

Let's prepare the filling. Grate processed cheeses into a bowl on a fine grater (to do this, they can be slightly frozen beforehand, then it will be easier to grate them), add garlic cloves passed through a press, as well as finely chopped dill.

We also add mayonnaise to the grated curds and mix everything well.

The resulting filling is applied to the cooled base.

We turn the layer into a tight roll.

We wrap the formed roll in paper or in cling film and in this form send it to the refrigerator for at least 30-40 minutes or until serving.

Chilled cheese omelet roll with stuffing cut into small pieces, put them on a dish, and our appetizer is ready to serve.

Enjoy your meal!

I propose to cook a delicious and original appetizer - an omelet roll with processed cheese and garlic. Despite the fact that the recipe is from the category of budget ones, this egg roll with filling will decorate any holiday table. As a filling, I used ordinary processed cheese such as "friendship", but you can cook this wonderful snack with any food that is in the refrigerator. You can use crab sticks, minced meat, liver pate or any delicate processed cheese, for example with mushroom flavor. As you can see, there is a lot of room for imagination here! I think any housewife will be delighted with such an appetizer, because this cheese roll is prepared in almost a matter of minutes, and the result is impressive. Moreover, each time experimenting with fillings, you can get a new and interesting taste. The roll turns out to be tender and appetizing, and cut into portioned pieces, it is suitable for any feast, buffet or snack during the day!

Ingredients:

  • egg - 2 pieces.
  • sour cream - 2 tbsp. spoons.
  • flour - 1 tbsp. heaped spoon.
  • processed cheese - 3 pieces.
  • garlic - 3-4 cloves.
  • salt - to taste.
  • greens - to taste.
  • mayonnaise - to taste.
  • Servings: 1 roll.

How to make an omelet roll with stuffing:

Since it is desirable to roll the roll in a warm state, the first step is to prepare the filling. Three curds on a grater, and to make it more convenient to do, you first need to hold them a little in the freezer.

We add garlic passed through the press and any fresh herbs to taste, I had dill.

We fill the filling with mayonnaise and mix thoroughly.

To make an omelet, beat eggs and a pinch of salt. If the filling is salty enough, then the eggs can not be salted at all. Add sour cream.

Mix and add a spoonful of flour with a small slide.

Once again, beat everything until smooth.

We grease the pan with vegetable oil, warm it up and pour the egg mixture evenly distributing it. I have a large frying pan, 28 cm in diameter, one roll turned out. If you have a small frying pan, then this amount is enough to cook two rolls or one, but thicker.

Alternatively, you can pre-lay the bottom of the mold with baking paper. I did not want to mess with the oven, so I still stopped in the pan.

We cook the omelet on low heat for just a few minutes. Our task is not to fry the mass, but only to wait for it to seize. Put the finished omelet on a flat surface. I put it upside down so that the outside of the roll looks more tender, with a pleasant yellow tint.

Distribute the filling evenly on top, stepping back a little from one edge.

Then tightly pressing the omelet with your hands, roll up the roll.

I served the roll almost immediately, but I recommend wrapping it in cling film and putting it in the refrigerator for at least a couple of hours. Then the roll soaked will be denser and better to keep the shape.

Cooking Tips

When preparing omelet rolls, it is necessary to be careful in handling the fragile omelet mass, since with sudden movements the baked roll can crack, and the treat will lose its aesthetic appearance.

In order to eliminate such troubles, let the omelet cool enough and roll the roll slowly, carefully separating it from paper or film. If you roll the roll not along, but across, the risk of crackling is significantly reduced.

The choice of toppings for an omelet dish is not limited.
