We do this gradually, first we bring the bottom edge to the surface, and only after a few seconds we completely put the piece. After a while, turn over. It only takes a few minutes to fry.

Garlic is good for her. For him, peel the potatoes and cut them into medium-sized pieces. Then we make mashed potatoes from it (boil, pour out the water and crush, while the potatoes are still warm). Steamed cod dumplings

Ingredients:

  • 50 g wheat bread
  • 300 g cod fillet,
  • 1 glass of milk
  • 20 g butter
  • 3 egg whites
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • vinegar.

Pour milk over the bread (or loaf). Separate the whites from the yolks. Pass the cod fillet three times together with wheat bread soaked in milk through a meat grinder. Add egg whites to the minced fish and beat the mass with a mixer or blender, gradually introducing milk into it. Salt and pepper. Fill the tins with fish mass (you can use baking tins) and put on the steam bath. Remove the prepared fish dumplings from the mold and put them on a flat dish. Garnish with fresh vegetables, hard-boiled eggs and herbs. Serve on the table with wine vinegar.

Fish soup with cod

Ingredients:

  • 200 g cod
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 3-4 medium potatoes,
  • 30 ml odorless vegetable oil,
  • salt,
  • a mixture of peppers,
  • greens (dill, parsley),
  • 1 head of onion,
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 2 bay leaves.

Peel and chop the onion into small cubes. Grate the carrots on a medium grater or chop into strips. Peel the fish and remove the skin and bones. Cut into small pieces. Peel the potatoes. Cut into small cubes. Dissolve bouillon cubes in water as directed. Boil. Pour potatoes into broth and cook until half cooked. [Box # 5] At the same time, fry the onion in heated vegetable oil until light golden brown. Add chopped carrots to the pan, and after a few minutes add fish to the pan with vegetables. Fry until tender. Put the dressing of fried vegetables and fish into the broth with potatoes. Salt and pepper. [sidebar # 2] Cook for another 10 minutes. A few minutes before removing the soup from the heat, put the bay leaf in a saucepan.
Chop the herbs and add to the saucepan. Remove soup from heat. Serve with bread or croutons.

Cod with cheese sauce

Ingredients:

  • 500 g cod fillet,
  • 100 g of hard cheese,
  • 1 medium head of onion
  • 2-3 st. tablespoons of flour
  • 50 ml of vegetable oil,
  • juice of half a lemon,
  • salt,
  • pepper,
  • greenery.

Cut the cod fillet into pieces. Salt and pepper. Drizzle with freshly squeezed lemon juice. Leave it on for a few minutes. Breaded each piece of fish in flour and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. Grate the cheese. Add mayonnaise to it and beat with a blender. Put the fried pieces of fish on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil.
Cut the onions into rings and sprinkle the pieces of fish with them. Pour cheese sauce on top of the cod and onion. Put the fish dish in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for 5-7 minutes. To garnish the fish, prepare boiled potatoes or mashed potatoes. Sprinkle with chopped herbs before serving.

Fried cod

Ingredients:

  • 600 g cod
  • 1 tbsp. a spoonful of flour
  • salt,
  • pepper,
  • vegetable oil,
  • greenery.

Mashed potatoes are one of the best side dishes for grilled cod.

Divide the fish along the ridge, remove the spine and bones. Cut into portions. Mix flour with pepper and salt. Dip the cod pieces in flour and fry in a pan in well-heated oil until crisp. Serve with potatoes or any other side dish, sprinkled with herbs. If you wish, you can decorate the dish with seven vegetables or a lemon wedge.

Solyanka with cod (recipe 1)

Ingredients:

  • 150 g cod fillet,
  • 150 g sauerkraut,
  • 50 g of hard cheese
  • 1 pickle,
  • 30 g tomato paste
  • 30 g butter
  • greenery,
  • broth (or water),
  • olives.

Peel the onion. Cut into slices and fry until golden brown in vegetable or butter. Dice the pickled cucumber. Grate the cheese. Cut the fish fillet into pieces and place in a saucepan with melted butter. Pour in some broth or water and simmer over medium heat. Add pickled cucumber, sautéed onion, the required amount of water to a saucepan and cook until tender. Then season with tomato paste and olives. Put some of the sauerkraut in the pan. On it - cod with a side dish and sauce. Cover the fish with the rest of the cabbage. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Put in an oven preheated to 170-180 degrees. Bake for 10-15 minutes. Serve, garnished with herbs and a lemon wedge.

Solyanka with cod (recipe 2)

Ingredients:

  • 300 g cod
  • 2-3 medium onions (200 g),
  • 200 g pickled cucumbers,
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoons of tomato paste,
  • vegetable oil for frying,
  • 1-2 tomatoes,
  • 1.5 liters of water
  • pitted olives (taste),
  • salt and spices to taste,
  • 1-2 lava leaves.

Cut the fish into fillets. Boil broth from cod and its waste (skin and large bones). Strain it through a sieve. [sidebar # 4] Pour the stock into a saucepan and heat. Chop the onion. Cut the cucumbers and tomatoes into cubes.
Saute the onion in vegetable oil. Add tomatoes and tomato paste... Add cucumbers in the same pan. Transfer the fish pieces and simmer for a few minutes. Bring broth to a boil. Transfer the contents of the pan (vegetables and fish) to it. Add olives. Salt and pepper. Sprinkle with herbs and garnish with a lemon wedge before serving. If desired, the hodgepodge can be seasoned with sour cream.

Cod with mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 400 g cod fillet,
  • 20 g flour
  • 300 g butter
  • 350 g sour cream sauce,
  • 150 g champignons,
  • 5-6 potato tubers,
  • 1 head of onion,
  • 50 g of hard cheese
  • 1 egg,
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste.

Cut fish, cook fillets (or take ready-made). Cut into small pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Breaded in flour and fry in butter. Boil an egg. Potatoes and cut into thin circles. Mushrooms - in slices, onions - in half rings. Fry mushrooms and onions separately. Pour a small amount of sour cream sauce into a skillet with high edges. Transfer the fried fish to the center. Place potato slices around. Lay onion, mushrooms, boiled egg slices on top. Pour over the rest sour cream sauce... Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Garnish with herbs before serving.

Fish dumplings

Ingredients:
For the test:

  • 350 g flour
  • 1 egg,
  • 0.5 cups of water
  • salt to taste
  • a pinch of sugar.

For filling:

  • 350 g cod fillet,
  • 50 g onions
  • 75 g milk
  • salt pepper.

Crack an egg, salt, beat and add water to it. Mix. Knead the dough. To do this, make a depression in the flour and pour water into it in small portions. Knead well. The dough should turn out to be plastic, soft. Prepare minced meat for dumplings. Pass the fillet together with the onion through a meat grinder. Salt and pepper. Pour milk into the fish. Mix. Form dumplings (by hand or using a dumpling machine). Freeze in the freezer. If necessary, boil the dumplings in salted water until tender. Serve with mayonnaise and herbs.

Chinese cod

Ingredients:

  • 900 g cod fillet,
  • 2 medium onions
  • 3 tbsp. spoons (or 50 g) of vodka,
  • 3 tbsp. spoons (50 g) soy sauce,
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • a mixture of peppers to taste,
  • coriander to taste
  • salt to taste
  • 80-100 g of vegetable oil (for frying),
  • 100 g (3 heaped tablespoons) rice flour (for breading).

Peel the onion and chop finely. Chop the garlic. Combine onion, garlic, vodka, coriander, pepper mixture and soy sauce in one bowl. Chop everything and mix with a blender until puree. Cut the cod fillets into small pieces. Pour over the resulting sauce. Cover and marinate for 30-50 minutes. After the required time has elapsed, roll the marinated fish in slightly salted rice flour and fry over medium heat on both sides for 5-7 minutes. The cod prepared according to this recipe turns out to be very tasty: moderately spicy and piquant. This dish can be served both on its own (only fish) or with a side dish: mashed potatoes or boiled rice.
